A goal we all work to achieve: A HealthyMKE.
HealthyMKE was launched as part of the COVID response in Milwaukee County in January 2021 as a way to provide timely and accurate health information and navigation for COVID testing, vaccines and other pandemic resources. We are grateful for the support of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership, Milwaukee County, United Healthcare and the Association of Health Insurers, whose contributions helped sustain the website’s initial role in the community’s COVID response.
HealthyMKE has grown to serve not only as a COVID health education and navigation platform, but as a source for other consumer health information. Its aim is to provide multi-cultural, multi-lingual content and images that build awareness and understanding about important health issues, particularly among Milwaukee’s diverse communities.
Currently, HealthyMKE’s focus areas are:
COVID Education &
Mitigation Resources.
Immunization
Education & Access.
Health Insurance
Education & Access.
Community access to healthcare services.
HealthyMKE is currently supported by the members of the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership.
Established in 2007, the Partnership is a public/private consortium dedicated to improving health care for low-income, underserved populations in Milwaukee County with the aim of improving health outcomes, advancing health equity and lowering the total cost of care.
